Running is a great form of exercise, recreation, and sport participation for adults, adolescents, and children. However, running under adverse conditions can cause a variety of injuries and physical stress.
At this seminar, Sharmi Mukherjee, physical therapist, will discuss common injuries associated with running and how to prevent them.
This free seminar is part of the 2016 bimonthly education series presented by Washington Sports Medicine and Washington Outpatient Rehab Center. The education series is geared towards weekend warriors, athletes, coaches, parents and athletic trainers to discuss common causes of sports injuries, prevention strategies, and potential treatment options.
