Lydia Pense & Cold Blood at Smoking Pig BBQ Fremont

Smoking Pig BBQ Company Fremont
3340 Mowry Ave 94538 Fremont United States
Lydia Pense & Cold Blood returns to Smoking Pig BBQ Company Fremont at 9:00pm. We had such a great experience last time, we had to bring them back for more.

The word legend certainly applies to Lydia Pense and Cold Blood…and not in some past tense-make-a-living-as-an-oldies-act sort of way either. Pense can still shout like a 60's soul diva and purr a slow blues tune with spine-tingling subtlety.

Cold Blood, as a whole, features a stellar group of musicians who have been playing together for nearly 20 years.

Lydia joined Cold Blood in 1968. Janis Joplin recommended her band to Bill Graham who was so impressed that he signed them to his label. She has since performed all over the world with her band.

STEVE DUNNE - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Steve is the lead guitar player/musical director for Cold Blood. He co-produced Cold Blood’s 2006 CD, TRANSFUSION with former Tower Of Power sax man Skip Mesquite. Two of Steve’s compositions, FACE THE MUSIC and COMING BACK are also featured. Steve also co-produced Cold Blood’s 2008 release. He has been with the band since 1992, touring nationally and internationally.

STEVE SALINAS - Keyboards/Vocals

RICH ARMSTRONG - Trumpet/Percussion
